All,
Back in 2002, I was archivist for a Denver-based band, Rainville, and had them added to the LMA. Since that time, the band's lead singer/guitarist, John Common, has performed solo and with various new projects. I've continued to record these solo projects, and contacted John to see about adding his new work to LMA. He gave the go-ahead on being added to the archive, and I've enclosed my email discussion with him below.
Artist: John Common
Abbreviation: jcommon
Websites: http://johncommon.com/ and http://myspace.com/johncommon
Taping policy: No official policy has been drafted yet, but currently anything goes (audience, sbd, or video).

Also, remember several years ago when I had Rainville added to the Live Music Archive?

Are you interested in having your newer material added? If so, I figured you could be listed as a solo artist, "John Common", but that we could host solo shows, Filmstrip Series, Goodnight Tulsa, or any other side projects you come up with.
If that sounds cool, let me know and I'll pass the info on the the archive.org crew.

That sounds great man. We all decided to just play out under my name from now on... so filmstrip series as a name is pretty much over. but you're right, i will inevitably come up with some other moniker in the future... but for the foreseeable future, it's old reliable: john common - solo and/or with the band.
